JAKARTA – Menteri Agama (Menag) Nasaruddin Umar melepas 1.500 peserta Car Free Day (CFD) di Jalan MH Thamrin, Jakarta, pagi ini. Kegiatan tersebut merupakan rangkaian dari Syiar Muharam 1447 Hijriah.

Sebagai pembuka rangkaian kegiatan Peaceful Muharam yang digelar Kementerian Agama (Kemenag), kegiatan ini diikuti ribuan peserta dari berbagai elemen, mulai dari penyuluh agama, majelis taklim, Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA), Forum Komunikasi Diniyah Takmiliyah (FKDT), madrasah se-DKI Jakarta, hingga masyarakat umum.

Pelepasan peserta CFD oleh Menag dilakukan dari titik kumpul di Kantor Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) pukul 06.30 WIB. Turut hadir mendampingi Menag, Wakil Menteri Agama Romo Muhammad Syafi’i, Sekretaris Jenderal Kemenag Kamaruddin Amin, Direktur Jenderal Bimbingan Masyarakat Islam (Dirjen Bimas Islam) Abu Rokhmad, para staf khusus Menteri, pejabat eselon I, II, dan III, serta jajaran Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Kemenag.
