JAKARTA – Miss Indonesia 2024 Monica Kezia Sembiring sukses mengharumkan nama bangsa setelah dinobatkan sebagai pemenang Beauty With A Purpose (BWAP) untuk wilayah Asia-Oseania di Miss World 2025. Prestasi ini diumumkan langsung dalam malam final Miss World 2025 yang berlangsung di HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad, India, Sabtu (31/5/2025).

Dalam ajang Miss World ini, Monica berdiri sejajar dengan perwakilan dari Puerto Riko, Uganda, dan Wales sebagai pemenang BWAP lainnya, mengukuhkan posisinya sebagai kontestan dengan kontribusi sosial luar biasa. Berkat penghargaan ini, Monica otomatis lolos ke babak Top 40 Miss World 2025 melalui jalur fast track.

“Pemenang untuk Beauty With A Purpose untuk kawasan Asia – Oseania adalah @monica.kezia,” tulis akun Instagram resmi Miss Indonesia, @missindonesia.

Keberhasilan Monica berakar dari proyek sosial bertajuk Pipeline for Lifeline, sebuah inisiatif pembangunan infrastruktur air bersih di Kampung Ciseke, Desa Padarincang, Kabupaten Serang, Banten. Proyek ini menjadi jawaban atas krisis akses air bersih yang selama ini dihadapi ratusan warga di wilayah tersebut.
