Marc Marquez kembali menunjukkan dominasinya di Sirkuit Sachsenring. Pembalap Ducati Lenovo itu berhasil merebut pole position pada sesi kualifikasi MotoGP Jerman 2025, Sabtu (12/7/2025), meskipun lintasan diguyur hujan deras.

Sesi kualifikasi 1 (Q1) dibuka dengan persaingan ketat untuk memperebutkan dua tempat di Q2. Maverick Vinales (KTM Tech3) dan Johann Zarco (LCR Honda) terlibat duel sengit. Vinales sempat memimpin dengan waktu 1 menit 29,164 detik, namun Zarco berhasil mengambil alih posisi teratas dengan catatan waktu 1 menit 27,827 detik. Zarco dan Vinales pun melaju ke Q2.

Sesi kualifikasi 2 (Q2) dimulai di bawah guyuran hujan lebat. Meskipun kondisi lintasan sulit, para pembalap tetap tampil maksimal. Franco Morbidelli sempat memimpin, namun Marc Marquez segera mengambil alih kendali.

Marquez menunjukkan performa luar biasa di tengah cuaca yang tak bersahabat. Ia mencatatkan waktu 1 menit 28,730 detik, kemudian mempertajamnya menjadi 1 menit 28,083 detik.
