Timnas Indonesia naik dua peringkat dari sebelumnya posisi 127 ke 125 dunia. Itu diketahui setelah hasil buruk yang dialami Sierra Leone dan Kongo.

Sierra Leone dan Kongo sama-sama turun delapan peringkat di ranking FIFA. Hasil minor itu memengaruhi posisi Timnas Indonesia, yang berhasil mencetak kemenangan bersejarah di putaran ketiga Kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2026 zona Asia.
