TOKYO – Tunggal putri Indonesia, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung , akan comeback di Japan Open 2025. Gregoria mengaku sudah tidak sabar untuk mengarungi turnamen berlevel Super 750 tersebut.

Seperti diketahui, Gregoria harus menepi selepas beraksi di Kejuaraan Asia 2025 pada April lalu karena mengalami vertigo. Dia bahkan harus melewatkan turnamen besar seperti Piala Sudirman hingga Indonesia Open 2025 untuk menjalani pemulihan.

Kini, Gregoria pun akan comeback di Japan Open 2025. Peraih medali perunggu Olimpiade Paris 2024 itu menatap antusias ajang tersebut. Dia pun berharap penyakit vertigo-nya tidak kambuh.

“Untuk persiapan, selama di Jakarta Puji Tuhan lancar dan tidak ada gangguan. Yang terpenting Vertigo-nya tidak kambuh walaupun intensitas latihan ditambah, badannya sudah lebih siap,” jelas Gregoria dalam keterangan resmi PBSI, Senin (14/7/2025).

Satu hari menjelang berlaga, Gregoria sudah menjalani latihan resmi di Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. Dia mengaku sudah sangat rindu untuk berlaga di lapangan.
