Putri Kusuma Wardani (Putri KW) menyumbangkan poin untuk tim bulu tangkis Indonesia saat berhadapan melawan Denmark pada laga penentuan juara Grup D Piala Sudirman 2025. Hasil positif ini diraih usai pebulu tangkis berusia 22 tahun itu menang melawan Line Hojmark Kjaersfeldt dengan dua game langsung 21-6, 21-5 dalam waktu 33 menit di Fenghuang Gymnasium, Kamis (1/5/2025).

Putri KW merupakan wakil Indonesia yang mampu menang cepat dalam waktu kurang dari 1 jam. Selain itu, dia juga mampu memenangkan pertandingan dengan dua game langsung.

Sementata dua wakil Indonesia lainnya, yakni Rinov Rivaldy/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja dan Alwi Farhan, harus bersusah payah untuk mengalahkan pebulu tangkis Denmark. Rivol/Gloria gagal menyumbangkan poin usai dikalahkan Jesper Toft/Amalie Magelund, melalui pertarungan sengit rubber game 20-22, 23-21, 16-21.

Permainan rubber game juga tersaji saat Alwi Farhan mengalahkan Anders Antonsen 21-17, 15-21, 21-17. Dengan kemenangan Putri KW, maka untuk sementara Indonesia unggul 2-1 atas Denmark. Selanjutnya,Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Daniel Marthin bakal menantang Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen di game keempat.
