SURABAYA – Wakil Wamen Komunikasi dan Digital (Komdigi) Nezar Patria melantik pengurus Asosiasi Media Siber Indonesia (AMSI) Jawa Timur periode 2024-2028 di Surabaya.

Nezar Patria menyoroti bagaimana transformasi digital telah mengubah cara masyarakat mengakses informasi.

“Hari ini, kita mendapatkan informasi sehari-hari melalui media siber. Hampir semua aspek kehidupan kita bersinggungan dengan digital, mulai dari belanja, pendidikan, hingga layanan kesehatan,” ujarnya, Rabu (20/11/2028).

Dia juga mencatat penurunan tren audiens media siber dalam beberapa tahun terakhir.

Data menunjukkan pada 2021, 89% masyarakat mengakses media siber, namun angka ini turun menjadi 79% pada 2024.

Kendati demikian, 34% audiens tetap aktif membagikan berita melalui media sosial, pesan instan, dan email.

Nezar juga menekankan bahwa media siber harus terus berinovasi untuk menghadapi tantangan digitalisasi.
