Siklon Tropis Man-Yi Terdeteksi, Waspada Hujan Lebat dan Gelombang Tinggi

JAKARTA – Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika ( BMKG ) mendeteksi Siklon Tropis Man-Yi di dekat perairan Indonesia yang berpotensi menyebabkan hujan lebat hingga gelombang tinggi di sejumlah wilayah. BMKG mendeteksi saat ini Siklon Tropis Man-Yi terpantau di Laut Filipina sebelah tenggara Pulau Luzon.

Tepatnya di sekitar 13.9 derajat Lintang Utara dan 124.6 derajat Bujur Timur atau sekitar 1.180 kilometer sebelah utara Tahuna. “Siklon Tropis Man-Yi dengan kecepatan angin maksimum 105 knot (195 km/jam) dan tekanan udara minimum 920 hPa bergerak ke arah Barat Laut,” tulis BMKG dalam keterangannya, dikutip Minggu (17/11/2024).

BMKG mengungkapkan Siklon Tropis Man-Yi tersebut bisa menyebabkan dampak tidak langsung yakni hujan dengan intensitas sedang hingga lebat yakni di Sulawesi Utara dan Maluku Utara.

Selanjutnya, berpotensi juga menyebabkan gelombang laut dengan tinggi 1,25 hingga 2,5 meter di Perairan utara Halmahera, Perairan utara Papua Barat Daya hingga Papua, Samudera Pasifik utara Papua Barat hingga Papua, dan Laut Halmahera.
