JAKARTA – Presiden Prabowo Subianto mengumumkan kenaikan gaji guru berstatus Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) dan non-ASN di acara Puncak Hari Guru Nasional 2024, Velodrome Rawamangun, Jakarta Timur, Kamis (28/11/2024). Dia mengatakan, kesejahteraan guru akan ditingkatkan, meski dirinya baru memimpin selama satu bulan sebagai Kepala Negara.

“Saya bisa menyampaikan bahwa kita, walaupun baru berkuasa satu bulan kami sudah bisa mengumumkan bahwa kesejahteraan guru bisa kita tingkatkan,” kata Prabowo dalam sambutannya.

Prabowo mengatakan bahwa pihaknya telah meningkatkan anggaran untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan guru ASN yang berstatus PNS dan PPPK serta guru-guru non ASN. “Guru ASN mendapatkan tambahan kesejahteraan sebesar satu kali gaji pokok. Guru-guru non ASN nilai tunjangan profesinya ditingkatkan menjadi Rp2 juta,” ungkapnya.

Prabowo juga menuturkan, terdapat penambahan guru yang bersertifikat pada 2025. “Tahun 2025 terdapat 1.932.666 guru yang bersertifikat pendidik yaitu 64,4 persen terdapat peningkatan sebanyak 650 guru bersertifikat dibanding tahun 2024,” pungkasnya.
