JAKARTA – Perang Iran-Israel membuat sejumlah Menteri Luar Negeri (Menlu) yang tergabung dalam negara Organisasi Kerja Sama Islam (OKI) berkumpul. Sedianya, forum itu akan dihelat di Istanbul, Turki pada 21 Juni 2025.

Menlu Sugiono mengungkapkan, sejumlah Menlu dari negara OKI akan berkumpul di Istanbul dalam waktu dekat. Adapun pertemuan itu untuk membahas konflik Iran-Israel.

“Kalau saya tidak salah tanggal 21 nanti Kementerian Luar Negeri OKI akan berkumpul di Istanbul, kemungkinan salah satu agendanya untuk membahas itu,” ujar Sugiono dalam pernyataannya di akun YouTube Setpres, Senin (16/6/2025).

Sugiono mengatakan, Indonesia berharap agar konflik antara Iran dan Israel bisa mereda. Menurut Sugiono, ketegangan bisa berakhir bila masing-masing pihak untuk menahan diri untuk tak salkng serang.
