JAKARTA – Mantan Konsultan Kemendikbudristek Ibrahim Arief (IA alias IBAM) tidak ditahan Kejaksaan Agung (Kejagung) dan dijadikan sebagai tahanan kota. Kejagung memasang gelang pendeteksi lokasi keberadaan kepada dirinya.

Ibrahim merupakan salah satu tersangka kasus dugaan korupsi pengadaan laptop berbasis Chromebook di Kemendikbudristek tahun anggaran 2019-2022.

“Tersangka IBAM sudah dipasang, kita punya alat namanya gelang untuk mendeteksi keberadaan yang bersangkutan di mana,” kata Kepala Pusat Penerangan Hukum (Kapuspenkum) Kejagung Anang Supriatna, Kamis (17/7/2025).

Anang menjelaskan bahwa Ibrahim berstatus sebagai tahanan kota lantaran tidak dilakukan penahanan. Ibrahim meminta penangguhan penahanan lantaran harus menjalankan pemeriksaan medis.
