BPOM Terbitkan Izin Edar Obat Deteksi Dini Kanker yang Dikembangkan Bio Farma

BPOM menerbitkan Nomor Izin Edar (NIE) radiofarmaka untuk deteksi dini dan pengobatan kanker yang dikembangkan Bio Farma, induk Holding BUMN Farmasi Indonesia. Foto/Ist

JAKARTA – Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) menerbitkan Nomor Izin Edar (NIE) bagi radiofarmaka untuk deteksi dini dan pengobatan kanker yang dikembangkan PT Bio Farma (Persero), induk Holding BUMN Farmasi Indonesia.

Produk farmasi nasional berupa radiofarmaka produksi Bio Farma yang mendapatkan NIE dari BPOM itu adalah 18-F Fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) bermerek FloDeg. FloDeg merupakan radiofarmaka penting dalam diagnostik kanker berbasis PET-Scan (Positron Emission Tomography).

NIE untuk FloDeg diserahkan Kepala Badan POM Taruna Ikrar kepada Direktur Pengembangan Usaha Bio Farma Yuliana Indriati dalam Kegiatan Asistensi Regulatori Terpadu Wilayah DKI Jakarta, Banten dan Sumatera yang diselenggarakan BPOM dan Gabungan Perusahaan Farmasi Indonesia (GPFI) pada Senin 19 Mei 2025 di Jakarta.

Kepala BPOM Taruna Ikrar mengatakan, saat ini, Indonesia menghadapi tiga tantangan besar dalam sektor kesehatan Indonesia saat ini.
