JAKARTA – Menteri Keuangan Sri Mulyani Indrawati memproyeksikan pembayaran bunga utang pemerintah pada 2025 akan menghabiskan anggaran Rp552,1 triliun. Angka tersebut lebih tinggi dibandingkan realisasi tahun 2024 mencapai Rp488,4 triliun.

“Berbagai indikator kesehatan utang akan kami waspadai. Profil utang kami kelola dengan hati-hati,” ujar dia menanggapi kekhawatiran DPR dalam rapat paripurna DPR, Selasa (15/7).

Dia menegaskan utang Indonesia tetap dikelola secara prudent dan terukur meski bebannya meningkat. Pemerintah terus memantau risiko suku bunga, nilai tukar, dan refinancing agar tetap dalam batas aman.

Sejumlah fraksi DPR sebelumnya menyoroti kenaikan rasio utang terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) dari 39,21% pada 2023 naik menjadi 39,81% di 2024. Mereka menilai hal ini berpotensi membebani APBN, terutama dengan realisasi belanja bunga utang 2024 yang naik 11,04% (year on year/yoy) menjadi Rp488,43 triliun.
