JAKARTA – Bank Indonesia (BI) melaporkan Neraca Pembayaran Indonesia (NPI) pada kuartal I-2025 mengalami defisit sebesar USD0,8 miliar. Kinerja ini mencerminkan tekanan dari perlambatan ekonomi global dan meningkatnya ketidakpastian pasar keuangan internasional.

Direktur Eksekutif Departemen Komunikasi BI, Ramdan Denny Prakoso, menyampaikan bahwa defisit tersebut juga disebabkan oleh tertekannya transaksi berjalan serta tekanan pada transaksi modal dan finansial. “Transaksi modal dan finansial mencatat defisit yang masih terkendali,” ujar Ramdan dalam pernyataannya, Kamis (22/5).

Meski demikian, posisi cadangan devisa Indonesia masih tergolong aman. Pada akhir Maret 2025, cadangan devisa tercatat sebesar USD157,1 miliar cukup untuk membiayai 6,5 bulan impor dan pembayaran utang luar negeri pemerintah jauh di atas standar internasional sebesar 3 bulan impor.

Transaksi berjalan pada kuartal I-2025 mencatat defisit sebesar USD0,2 miliar, atau 0,1% dari produk domestik bruto (PDB). Angka ini lebih rendah dibandingkan kuartal IV-2024 yang mengalami defisit USD1,1 miliar atau 0,3% dari PDB.
