JAKARTA – PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) mencatat volume kiriman oleh-oleh jemaah haji mencapai 4.822 koli atau setara 86,35 ton hingga akhir Mei 2025. Angka ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dibanding periode sama tahun sebelumnya.

Direktur Bisnis Kurir dan Logistik Pos Indonesia Tonggo Marbun menjelaskan, layanan kargo haji menjadi solusi praktis bagi jemaah yang kerap kelebihan bagasi.

“Tradisi belanja oleh-oleh masih sangat kuat. Koper mereka seringkali tak cukup meski sudah mengurangi barang pribadi,” ujar dia dalam keterangannya, Selasa (3/6).

Untuk memastikan layanan optimal, Pos Indonesia mengerahkan 80 petugas khusus di Arab Saudi yang melayani pengambilan barang secara mobile di berbagai lokasi strategis seperti hotel dan pusat perbelanjaan di Makkah-Madinah. Barang-barang yang dikirim meliputi pakaian, sajadah, makanan khas Timur Tengah, hingga permadani.
