JAKARTAKopi arabika asal Indonesia kian digemari di berbagai negara, termasuk Amerika Serikat (AS), di tengah bayang-bayang tarif resiprokal yang diterapkan Presiden Donald Trump. Sepanjang kuartal I-2025, sedikitnya 127 ton kopi produksi Java Coffee Estate (JCE) -yang merupakan hasil perkebunan kopi kerja sama antara PTPN IV PalmCo dan PTPN I SupportingCo- kembali mampu menembus berbagai negara tujuan.

Direktur Utama PTPN IV PalmCo, Jatmiko Santosa mengatakan, sejauh ini Inggris menjadi negara importir kopi terbesar dengan total mencapai 54.000 kilogram atau senilai Rp6,5 miliar. Disusul Amerika dengan total impor mencapai 36.000 kilogram senilai Rp4,3 miliar. Saudi Arabia dan Norwegia mengimpor kopi JCE dengan total impor 38.400 kilogram atau setara Rp4,5 miliar.

Jatmiko optimistis ekspor kopi JCE akan terus naik seiring peningkatan kualitas mutu ekspor serta adaptasi dalam penerapan sertifikasi berkelanjutan seperti Rainforest Alliance (RA) dan European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).

“Di tahun 2024, kita ekspor kopi 600 ton ke berbagai negara. Insya Allah, di tahun ini ekspor kopi Arabika specialty dari JCE akan terus tumbuh,” kata Jatmiko dalam keterangannya, Senin (2/6/2025).
