JAKARTA – PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) atau Pelindo memulai pembangunan Bali Benoa Marina di Bali Maritime Tourism Hub (BMTH), Pelabuhan Benoa, Bali. Marina berfasilitas lengkap ini diharapkan mulai beroperasi pada kuartal IV-2025 dan menjadi pusat wisata maritim premium, mengukuhkan posisi Indonesia di kancah pariwisata bahari internasional.

Wakil Menteri Pariwisata Ni Luh Puspa menyatakan pembangunan marina ini sejalan dengan fokus pemerintah dalam mengembangkan pariwisata berkualitas dan berkelanjutan. “Kementerian Pariwisata mendorong kerja sama antara BUMN dan swasta serta optimalisasi promosi ke komunitas pariwisata,” ujar dalam pernyataannya, Senin (26/5).

Sementara, Wakil Gubernur Bali I Nyoman Giri Prasta memberikan dukungan penuh terhadap proyek yang menjadi bagian dari transformasi Pelabuhan Benoa menjadi BMTH. Ia berharap, pembangunan marina dapat membuka peluang ekonomi baru bagi masyarakat lokal dan mengajak agar pelaksanaan proyek tetap menjaga kelestarian biota laut.

“Proyek ini akan mengukuhkan Bali sebagai destinasi utama wisata maritim dunia sekaligus membuka kantong-kantong ekonomi baru bagi masyarakat sekitar,” ujar Giri Prasta.
