JAKARTA – Presiden Amerika Serikat (AS), Donald Trump memperingatkan produsen minyak agar tidak mendorong harga lebih tinggi, di tengah meningkatnya volatilitas pasar menyusul serangan Amerika pada fasilitas nuklir Iran. Serangan AS direspons ancaman dari Teheran yang bakal menutup Selat Hormuz , jalur pengiriman utama untuk ekspor minyak mentah global.

Sebelumnya angkatan bersenjata AS menargetkan fasilitas nuklir di Fordow, Isfahan, dan Natanz pada hari Sabtu, hanya sehari setelah Trump mengatakan bahwa Ia akan memutuskan “dalam dua minggu ke depan” apakah akan bertindak dalam perang Iran vs Israel. Serangan tersebut mengejutkan para investor, yang mendorong harga minyak mentah ke puncak tertinggi lima bulan sebelum akhirnya kembali mereda.

“Semua orang, jaga agar harga minyak tetap rendah. Saya memantau! kalian bermain langsung ke tangan musuh. Jangan lakukan itu!” tulis Trump di platform Truth Social-nya, Senin (23/6/2025) waktu setempat.

Dalam posting terpisah, Trump juga menyerukan peningkatan segera produksi domestik: “Kepada Departemen Energi: Bor, Baby, Bor!!! Dan saya maksudkan Sekarang!!!”
