Kerajaan Arab Saudi memperingatkan bahwa penyalahgunaan visa kerja musiman untuk ibadah haji akan dihukum berat, termasuk denda SR50.000 atau lebih dari Rp217 juta. Foto/SPA

RIYADH – Pemerintah Kerajaan Arab Saudi telah memperingatkan bahwa perusahaan yang menyalahgunakan visa kerja musiman untuk ibadah haji akan menghadapi hukuman berat. Itu termasuk denda hingga SR50.000 (Rp217,6 juta).

Bisnis yang melanggar juga berisiko dilarang mengajukan permohonan untuk bersaing dalam tender pemerintah Arab Saudi hingga lima tahun, jika visa kerja sementara dijual, dipindahtangankan, atau digunakan untuk tujuan selain yang ditentukan.

Kementerian Sumber Daya Manusia Arab Saudi, seperti dikutip Gulf News, Senin (2/6/2025), telah menekankan pentingnya mematuhi peraturan yang terkait dengan visa untuk haji dan umrah.

Kementerian itu menegaskan bahwa kepatuhan ini berperan penting untuk menjamin lingkungan kerja yang aman dan teratur selama musim haji saat ini.

Arab Saudi telah mengintensifkan tindakan keras terhadap jemaah haji ilegal dan kolaborator mereka menjelang haji minggu depan di dan sekitar kota suci Makkah.
