Korea Utara menahan tiga orang atas kegagalan peresmian kapal perang 5.000 ton yang mempermalukan Kim Jong-un. Foto/X/Open Source London

PYONGYANG – Pihak berwenang Korea Utara (Korut) telah menangkap dan menahan tiga orang setelah kapal perang berbobot 5.000 ton gagal meluncur dan nyaris tenggelam saat upacara peresmian pada Rabu lalu. Insiden ini telah mempermalukan pemimpin Korut Kim Jong-un.

Penangkapan tiga orang tersebut dilaporkan media pemerintah; Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Minggu (25/5/2025).

Pyongyang menyatakan kecelakaan serius terjadi pada upacara peresmian hari Rabu di kota pelabuhan timur Chongjin untuk kapal perusak Angkatan Laut seberat 5.000 ton yang baru dibangun, di mana bagian-bagian dasar kapal hancur.

Kim Jong-un menyebut insiden itu sebagai “tindakan kriminal yang disebabkan oleh kecerobohan mutlak”.

Dia mengatakan insiden itu merusak martabat negara dan berjanji untuk menghukum mereka yang terbukti bertanggung jawab.
